Job Description
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a physical or natural science from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama and five years of experience in a public health, medical, clinical or research laboratory. An equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered.

Essential Functions
Contributes to a research program focused on neuronal stem cell biology, protein translation, and multi-omics analysis.
Designs and supervises research projects requiring advanced expertise in complex chemical and biological analyses.
Develops and executes experimental strategies to study neuronal stem cell function and differentiation, with a focus on protein synthesis and integrative multi-omics approaches, including transcriptomics and translatomics.
Plans experimental protocols and independently carrying out a research program using state of the art methodologies.
Designs and implements innovative techniques, collects and rigorously analyze data, and draws conclusions aligned with project goals.
Maintains data in a form suitable for publication, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
Assists the Principal Investigator in preparing figures, manuscripts, and reports.
Maintains detailed and organized records, ensuring timely data sharing, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to advance research progress.
Regular and prompt attendance.
Ability to work schedule as defined and additional hours as required.
