Description:Per course adjunct faculty for the Single Subject program's course, SSTE 527-02.

Qualifications:
SSTE 527-02 - Preparation for Teacher Performance Assessment (1 unit)
ONLINE - Mondays (1/5, 1/12,1/26) from 5:00 - 8:15 pm and Friday 1/23 5:00PM - 8:15PM
The purpose of this course is to support students as they prepare for their Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA). Within this broad purpose, the course has two primary goals: (1) to help students understand what is required of them in the CalTPA Teaching Event and plan how to meet each of these requirements (Tasks); (2) to learn how to participate in a professional learning community for the purpose of pedagogical self-study and development, particularly as aspiring urban educators. In addition to these primary goals, the course also supports the work of other courses in helping students develop the competencies (TPEs) they need to successfully complete their preparation for a SingleSubject teaching credential.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Education, Subject Matter, or related field
- 5+ years experience teaching in K-12 settings, preferably in urban educational environments
- Experience supporting teacher candidates through clinical practice, student teaching, or mentoring roles
- Knowledge of California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA) requirements and evaluation processes
- Familiarity with Teaching Performance Expectations (TPEs) and their application in classroom practice
Must reside in California.
