Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for a half-time visiting position in Latin America History or in Latin American Studies, with a focus on History, for the 2025-2026 academic year. Lecture courses (capped at 45 students) contain either two weekly lectures and bi-weekly “group conferences” (15 students at a time) or one longer weekly lecture and weekly “group conferences” (15 students at a time). Faculty teaching seminars (capped at 15 students) are required to meet individually with students biweekly for “conference,” which entails guiding the student through a semester-long independent research project.
