Job Description
The Interventional Pulmonary Coordinator (IPC) serves as a facilitator to the Pulmonologists and the patients they serve, in the area defined as the Bronchoscopy Suite (BS). This may also be patients under their care, having their
bronchoscopy procedure performed in the Main OR and or at bedside.
Education:
Bachelor's in Nursing
Licensure:
- ACLS
- BLS
- RN
Minimum Required:
Minimum of three (3) years of providing bronchoscopy procedures to patients, including administering moderate
sedation, monitoring Vital Signs and patient response, whether patient in BS, Main OR, or at the bedside. Includes
emergency intervention, when necessary, and pre and post individualized patient education.
Maintain Clinical Ladder for Nursing, as needed.
